If you're looking for holiday-themed books, movies, music and more, BiblioTech Public Library has something for everyone! While our branch locations will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas day, our digital collections are always available! You can also register for a card online and download all the BiblioTech Apps. Let's take a look at some of our collections.
For some holiday tunes to get you ready for Santa, check out Hoopla. They have a County Christmas collection, which features Dolly Parton's brand new Christmas Album (certainly a highlight of 2020). They also have Christmas music for kids, Best of Holiday music, Holiday Jazz and Holiday Soundtracks. Hoopla also has a pretty great collection called Family Christmas at Home, which features more music, cookbooks and kid's books.
Other music options include Stingray Qello, where you can find Holiday concerts from Lady A, as well as Daniel O'Donnell and many more great artists. Or, head over to one of our newest resources, medici.tv, where you can watch an amazing array of classical Christmas concerts, as well as ballets like Swan Lake and the Nutcracker.
Looking for holiday movies? Hoopla's Movies of the Month are all holiday themed, and they also have an entire collection of Lifetime holiday movies and also Christmas Comedies, if you need a laugh. Kanopy has a Christmas Collection with many different movies, including Happy Christmas, which stars Anna Kendrick, and The Man Who Invented Christmas, starring Christopher Plummer. Kanopy Kids features many different Christmas tales for the whole family, including the classic animated tale Christmas in New York.
